PMB Hardware Group, known as PMB Hardware Wholesalers or recently PMB Distributors is a long established company based in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa that entered into the wholesale and retail of building material in the mid 80’s.

The company was launched by Rashid Amod, who directed the company’s retail and wholesale divisions from inception. Today the company supplies more then 2000 retail hardware stores throughout South Africa and neighboring countries.
Upto this day, the company still service some of its old and loyal clients based mainly in KZN or Eastern Cape who traded with us from the early days.

Today, the company services a broader spectrum of clients including building contractors, and service providers for government projects.

The company has diversified into various divisions allowing it to supply hardware stores a mixed load of product which we specialize in, or full truck loads of product such as cement, bricks, floor tiles, ceiling boards and timber.

The company also has a strong focus on supply for specialized fencing tenders, low cost housing projects, and container loads of imported building material items.

We also offer our clients a building material franchise option/solution with our own retail franchise brand, thus allowing us to offer personal and stronger support through better pricing and deals, direct deliveries from factories, marketing and branding appeal, and flexible trade terms and credit limit criteria.

Although our range of services offerings are huge the company prides itself on what it’s famous for such as, wire fencing, roofing material, pine doors and frames, interior and exterior doors, ceiling boards and materials, rainwater goods, boards, aluminium windows and doors, steel windows, plastics, treated timber and poles, floor tiles, paints, adhesives and sealants, bricks, cement and roof tiles.
